YOUR JOURNEY

Your journey to Shropshire will probably be easier than you think, although the experience may well be more dramatic than you ever imagined.

From the South, the M40 and M42 will rapidly take you to Junction 4 of the M5 from where the A491 and A458 will speed you to Bridgnorth.

From the West and the North, the M54 will take you to Telford, from where it is a short ten miles to Much Wenlock.

But the last few miles will also take you from the relentless bustle of modern life to a landscape of rolling farmland, breathtaking scenery and unspoilt villages that epitomise one of England’s most beautiful and sparsely populated counties.

By the time you reach Much Wenlock, your journey may have prepared you for the relaxed pace of a gentile town where a choice of shops featuring high quality ladies’ fashions, fine art and antiques can provide a whole new meaning to ‘retail therapy’.
